Are both big oil tanks already empty?
Beatrice stopped producing oil early 2000 I think
Sad to see. The Hunter was a great rig
Thanks for comment
What a great selection of machinery. Cheers, Poth.
Good bit of filming it's nice to see someone not concentrating on Scanias I'm sick of seeing the same Scania Scania Scania. Oh did I mention Scania Scania Scania Scania.. Thanks again please everyone show us other wagons it's getting boring
Thanx for comment
Intresting
No, I didn't as moved out of Caithness a few years ago now. But i saw his video of the journey on RUclips. He even spotted the old abandoned 1960s Claas sat on a farm north of Brora. It has been lying abandoned for over 20 years. I don't know what condition it is in, but sitting in the open air for years and not far from the sea it can't be good 😢😢
I also made a video of him passing here and it's got over 6k views
Now, that would have been well worth watching out for if I had known about it !!
I just came across them by lucky really
I used to live near to the road from John o Groats a few years ago and saw many weird sights as people headed towards Wick on the A99 as they headed south on the start of their marathon journeys to Lands End. The tractor runs were always the best for me. But sadly I have moved and don't get to see these attempts now.
Did you see the guy with the class combine last year???
Could that be the site for the Subsea Cable factory?
Aye but I cannot spell the Japanese owner
Great videos Marco my videos are based on lorry in the Highlands
thanks for comment,I never seen this before pity it was dark
Never seen anything like that before. Guess its like a ballast cleaner on the railways.
good video got to see them arriving into wick early this morning
Thanx for comment
Excellent video, many thanks for posting.

Yeh she's some beast
A little bit of arithmetic and geometry there, what a beautiful machine.
Where is this and what are they going to be building?
Invergordon distillery warehouses
Nice. I was up there a day too late unfortunately
Think they were there for 3-4 day they are brill
Great footage. They went over to my house in Dornoch at or below 1000, seen through the trees. The first flights of the day were under an overcast to the north. Seemed clearer to the south. The NOTAM said they could be pretty low. Well done.
Thanx for comment.glad you njoyed it
Brilliant footage, thanks for posting.. ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for comment

...very nice...❤️🔥🌾🚜!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Where were the "high" shots taken from? Im guessing up near the Nig quarry or drone?
Yes half way
I can imagine someone on the pier, looking at the horizon and yelling "the Nigg is near"
Does seem a very odd way of moving that thing. Wonder if the crane and slings are rated for such a move.
I am sure they have done there sums right
I love to watch people do things they are really good at. That's quite the dance. That rig sure looks top heavy.
Aye but she's well ballasted
Why use a southern based firm when they've got scotland based crane firms?
Probably the same as Scottish cranes and transport trucks have built windfarms in Norway sweden.it must be money or friends in high places
Great video as always
Appreciate that
Great video. Amazing what light work that Scania made of hauling that lump. I thought they'd picked up a police escort coming off the bridge there at the end!
They had police all the way
Heading up Struie Hill.
A very skilled craftsman. 2 very neat bunks.
What a load of mud. Can see why you kept your distance.
Guessing the combined eeight of truck and excavator around 150 tonne. Looked like a bit of crab steering going of the Kessock bridge
Hitachi is 85 ton not sure about truck.steering is pretty clever
Brings back memories. I used too run a valmet processor and a forwarder in the early 90,s
Very atmospheric.
Aye last 3 cranes came in by boat
@@martincadogan7207 don't know never saw crane body but I did see mammoet van there.i will post Wen I see it.so keep you eyes open
Good to see it arriving by ship rather than 100 odd lorries.
I wasn't aware of how these tanks were used until recently. Presume Nigg has a long stream of work lined up for all the development being done to the site. My last visit in early September the site was rather empty.
Thanks for comment .yard about to start Moray West OWF and construction of subsea cable manufacturing facility adjacent to main gate.so it's looking good
We swam out & climbed the ladder onto the ship when we were there… I remember we explored it for a while… the deck was metal & RED HOT on our bare feet… totally unprepared! Was good tho, we dived off the side back into the sea and it was WAAYYY higher than it looks 😮 Swam back to shore and slept for two hours recovering. Good times in Goa 🇮🇳
Never made it to the top of the ladder.never the less it was great times in Candolim
great
Thank you for your comment
Some operator. He makes that machine sing.
Yeh I think hes done that before
amazing thankyou
nice around 500tons in de hook and 500tons on the tray
Green flashing light on the roof means the operator is wearing a lifejacket 👍
I'm guessing they can only offload one or two tubes per tide.
I reckon they will ballast the boat to suit the tides
fast enough to move whether that's max speed lr11350 ?
yes, it's very fast, but it seems like the standard speed of all LR series cranes from 1500 to 13000 is very slow. the 1600 has a second speed very fast, then its running motors start to hum loudly
Cool 😎 Can I post the video on my page?
Yip just download and share the link and thanks
@@TheMarcosparco thanks 👍
What's the deal with the TX series? Were they a conventional styler combine? We don't have them in America that's why I am clueless as to what it is.
Please find complete spec on Google.com
this was the new holland combine from 196-2003 makes this on 27 years young and in perfect condition, thanks for comment
In Dundee right now
Yeah they get around
That tug seems rather undersized to reach all the way to Turkey. Good drone shot to see the size of the thing.
Thank you for comment
Another first class posting, cheers Marcosparco 👍👍👍👍
